It is a hot summer !!!  July had a few very nice days in the 70’s and it was nice to get out in the boat. The fish were hanging in the 15-25 foot area and I fished mainly long tapering points. Vern and I got to Santuit, but it was a drastic change with all the construction.  The grass was only in the northern end of the pond. Occasional clumps were found elsewhere.  We caught some nice fish but the pond now fishes “small”.   I only fish early morning until about noon.  Even on the week days, too many jet skis and water skiers !!
